It’s time to sort out your seeds by sowing month. It probably doesn’t sound very exciting to some, but we believe not many things are more satisfying than successfully growing from seed, nurturing the little seedlings as they grow and reaping the benefits in a short timeframe. For those with little space, time or just beginners why not try growing a wild or meadow flower mix in a pot.
Sow the seeds directly into your chosen pot as directed on the packet. We like to use big bucket style planters to create a bumper displays! Wild flowers will do better in poor quality soil so avoid using nutrient rich compost when possible. Keep the soil damp while the seeds germinate and find a sunny spot. Water occasionally and voila! Great to engage kids in the garden and even better for our pollinating bees.
